Nick is an experienced litigator who handles complex civil and commercial disputes in both state and federal courts on behalf of a broad range of clients. He defends law firms against allegations of attorney malpractice, advises private clients regarding trusts and estates disputes, and represents litigants in commercial disputes.

Nick takes a practical approach to pursuing his clients’ goals, with a steady eye trained on achieving expedient and client-friendly results. He commonly handles disputes from pre-litigation phase through trial and is as comfortable arguing in court as he is marshalling evidence or drafting persuasive briefs. Nick’s clients particularly value his focus on efficient problem solving and his ability to distill complex issues into actionable advice.

Prior to joining Elman Freiberg, Nick was a Senior Associate at Covington & Burling LLP and a member of its Chambers Band 1 ranked policyholder-side insurance practice group.
